Bessies 2012 Call For Entries

Since 1963, Bessie Awards have recognized the finest in Canadian television advertising. Produced by the Broadcast Executives Society and the Television Bureau of Canada, the competition accepts entries from any incorporated agency or production facility in Canada.

For the first time, entries in craft film categories will be accepted, which include Animation, Best Use of Original Music, Casting, Cinematography, Colourist, Directing, Editing, Production Design, Sound Design, and Special Effects / Compositing. On the creative front, film for TV and digital film categories will be judged and awarded separately.

Each entry into the 2012 Bessies must specify the Category - Film (Television or Digital) or Film Craft. If a commercial is to be considered for both, it must be entered separately in each Category.

Entry Cost

**Early Bird Deadline: April 15th, 2012**

  $140/entry by early bird date
  $175/entry after early bird date

• Film for Television and Digital Film Campaign

  $210/entry by early bird date
  $245/entry after early bird date

• Film Craft

  $80/Craft/entry by early bird date
  $100/Craft/entry after early bird date

Step 1:

Register on the site by clicking the button on the right and filling out the registration form.

Step 2:

Complete the online entry forms for the single spots or campaigns you wish to enter. To complete your entire entry process online, upload your video spots for the corresponding entry where prompted. If you don't finish all entries at one time you can return to this site anytime and pick up where you left off.
